What will my day look like on my Kart Silverstone experience?
We look forward to welcoming you for your Kart Silverstone experience! Here's a guide to what your day will look like from start to finish.
Getting to the circuit:
We recommend attending by car, as Silverstone is located in the countryside where public transport options can be limited. Our address is Silverstone Circuit, Towcester, Northamptonshire, NN12 8TN
Please allow plenty of travel time, particularly if your experience falls on an event weekend. You can check our event calendar at silverstone.co.uk/events.
When you arrive:
When you arrive at Silverstone, please enter through the circuit's main gate. Please have your Kart Silverstone booking confirmation ready for our welcome team to check upon entry. Head straight over the bridge, and our karting building will be on your left-hand side. You can't miss it! Parking is available directly outside the building.
Sign On:
Once parked, make your way to the sign-on desk, where a member of the Kart Silverstone team will check your indemnity form waiver and get you signed in. You'll be issued with your gloves, balaclava and race suit at this point, and the team will share any useful information ahead of your safety briefing.
Safety Briefing:
You'll be directed to the changing rooms to get suited up before being called through by one of our instructors for your pre-session safety briefing. This will cover the circuit layout, track safety, and everything you need to know to have a safe and enjoyable session. Once the briefing is complete, your helmet will be fitted to make sure you're comfortable and ready to go.
The Experience:
You'll then be guided out to the karts to start your session! Your instructor will ensure you're comfortable in the kart and will adjust your seat and pedals as needed before you head out on track.
After your experience:
Once your session is complete, you'll head back to the changing rooms to get out of your race suit. Don't forget to collect your video QR code on the way out, and if you've pre-paid for your video, make sure you also grab your unlock code so you can access your footage. A great way to relive the action!
