Can I Use Medical Cannabis in the Venue?
Yes, prescribed medical cannabis can be brought into the venue, but you must be able to provide evidence that it has been legally prescribed to you. Cannabis-based products for medicinal use can be lawfully prescribed in the UK under the relevant controlled-drug framework.
📝 What Do I Need to Bring?
When arriving with prescribed medical cannabis, please bring:
- Your original, valid prescription
- A supporting medical letter from your licensed healthcare provider
- Your medication in its original prescribed packaging
Please present yourself to Security on arrival.
You should keep your documentation with you throughout your visit, as you may be asked to provide it again while inside the venue.
🌿 What Forms Are Accepted?
We recognise prescribed medical cannabis in a variety of forms, including:
- Oils
- Prescribed vaping products
- Pastilles
Only medication that has been legally prescribed to you should be brought into the venue. Cannabis otherwise remains a controlled drug in the UK.
🚭 Vaping Within the Venue
If your prescribed medication is administered through vaping:
- Vaping is not permitted within grandstands or viewing platforms
- Please be considerate of other guests when vaping in public areas
- Follow any instructions provided by Security or event staff
Venue policies can restrict where vaping takes place even where the medication itself is legally prescribed.
