What will my day look like on my Silverstone Drive experience?
We look forward to welcoming you for your Silverstone Drive experience! Here's a guide to what your day will look like from start to finish.
Getting to the circuit:
We recommend attending by car, as Silverstone is located in the countryside where public transport options can be limited. Our address is Silverstone Circuit, Towcester, Northamptonshire, NN12 8TN
Please allow plenty of travel time, particularly if your experience falls on an event weekend; you can check our event calendar at silverstone.co.uk/events. We recommend arriving 30–40 minutes before your booked slot to allow time for parking and sign-on.
When you arrive:
When you arrive at Silverstone, please note that you will not be entering through the circuit's main entrance. Don't worry; follow the yellow signs with the red dot marked 'Drive Silverstone' as seen below.
which will guide you to the south entrance. Please have your drive booking confirmation ready for our welcome team to check on entry.
Signage will continue through the venue to the parking area, where our Welcome Team will direct you to park.
Sign On:
Once parked, you will be guided to the sign-on desk, where a member of the Drive team will check your driving licence and indemnity form waiver before signing you on. They will also share any relevant information ahead of your safety briefing.
Safety Briefing:
At the time of your booked slot, your group will be called by one of our instructors to attend a pre-experience safety briefing. This will cover the circuit layout, track safety, and everything else you need to know to have a safe and enjoyable experience.
The Experience:
Once the safety briefing has been completed, you will be guided to the vehicles to start your experience. If you have booked our single-seater experience, it will be at this point that you will be driven over to the Stowe complex in a minibus to partake in your experience.
After Your Experience
Once your experience is complete, your instructor will give a short debrief. This is also the point at which you can purchase your video voucher if you haven't already – it's entirely optional, but a great way to remember your time with us!
